Before I explain further, I would like to refresh our memories of what a family really is. From what we all knew from our primary days, it was said that family is the smallest unit in the society that consist of the father, mother, and children, that was the simplest explanation, which meant that it functions like a cell in the human body, and without a cell according to biologist, there is no tissue or organ not to talk of system. but as we got  higher in the level of  education, we were now taught that family is not only a unit that consist of the father and mother and children, family is that group that teaches morals, norms and values of the society in other to produce responsible youth and citizen.

3 Reasons Why God's Judgment Should Not be Overlooked

God’s judgment is not something most Christians want to think about. We don’t put verses with God’s judgment on sticky notes, we don’t try to commit these Scripture verses to memory, and most of us would not choose for our pastor to preach on this subject.
But, as The Gospel Coalition writer Erik Raymond notes in his article “Are You Allergic to God’s Judgment?” the Bible has a lot to say on this subject.

The Difference between Love and 'Condemnation with a Smile'

“Love the sinner, hate the sin.”
If I’m being completely honest, I’ve never much liked this term. It always sounded so flippant, so condescending, as though I were making an excuse after saying something particularly rude. Yet, over the years, I’ve heard this phrase come up in Christian circles with surprising regularity. We seem to use it whenever we're talking about Muslims, or atheists, or even our political rivals. When I mentioned this fact to a non-Christian friend of mine, he simply laughed and called it, “condemnation with a smile.”

Trusting God when he does not give you what you want

There is a well-known Christian phrase that says “God is good,” to which others will then respond “all the time.” The call and response continues with “All the time,” followed by “God is good.”
It’s such a simple phrase, but it gets at the heart of what we as Christians believe about God--that no matter what our circumstances, no matter what life situations we find ourselves in--God is faithful, and He can be trusted.
This is core Christian belief, but it is much harder to take ahold of and live out.

HOW TO PRAY WHEN YOU DON'T WANT TO PRAY.

Sometimes, I just don’t want to pray.
There, I admitted it. I was raised in a Christian home, I accepted Jesus at a young age, and I’ve never strayed far from my faith or my church, but there still are many days I just don’t want to pray and many days that I never pray a word.
Sometimes, it’s because I feel ashamed of sin in my life, or because God feels distant. Sometimes, I just don’t feel like I have anything to say, or I don’t really want to address what’s going on in my life and talk to God about it. Other times, it’s because I get too caught up in all the busyness of my life, and I forget to prioritize prayer.

why is christmas celebrated on 25 december

Christmas is celebrated to remember the birth of of Jesus Christ, who Christians believe is the Son of God.

The name 'Christmas' comes from the Mass of Christ (or Jesus). A Mass service (which is sometimes called Communion or Eucharist) is where Christians remember that Jesus died for us and then came back to life. The 'Christ-Mass' service was the only one that was allowed to take place after sunset (and before sunrise the next day), so people had it at Midnight! So we get the name Christ-Mass, shortened to Christmas.

Christmas is now celebrated by people around the world, whether they are Christians or not. It's a time when family and friends come together and remember the good things they have. People, and especially children, also like Christmas as it's a time when you give and receive presents!
